i design for less

   Everyone is looking for something different. We all have a style that we gravitate to.
I take time getting to know my clients, their styles and preferences. I'll listen - actually, more than listen: I really hear them. It's so important that whatever space we're working on be meaningful to them, and evokes what is most beautiful and inspiring to them.

   While I don't impose my own taste in other people's spaces, I do have specific strengths that I draw on wherever I work:

      • A strong sense of color
      • Knowing what spatial relationships provide the best flow and balance
      • Referencing the natural world through color and natural objects
      • Creating beautiful spaces with minimal expense

   When I work with you, I'll spend time talking with you throughout the project period. I will use everything you currently have that you want to keep. And I may suggest we keep more; sometimes people don't realize what treasures they have.

I'll work with you to create affordable design. This doesn't mean your space needs to look cheap. Sometimes people just need small changes: repositioning furniture, painting the walls, buying a couple of pictures or a new rug.
   I'll look for accent pieces at garage sales and discount stores . Beautiful environments don't have to be expensive.

I can create trendy spaces, and I can create timeless spaces that people want to be in for a long time. Whatever the style, good design can enrich our lives.
